Question 1

What makes The Nilgiri Root french fries premium?

Accepted Answer

Our french fries are made from 100% Nilgiri mountain potatoes grown at 2,200m altitude. The cool climate and volcanic soil produce potatoes with superior starch content, resulting in crispier, more flavorful fries. Our blast freezing process locks in colour, texture and freshness from the moment the fries leave the line.

Question 2

What cut sizes are available?

Accepted Answer

We offer three cut sizes: 9mm (crisp & quick), 10mm (the all-rounder), and 11mm (steakhouse style). Each cut is available in 500g, 1kg, and 2.5kg packs.

Question 3

Are your french fries FSSAI certified?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all our products are FSSAI certified (License No: 12426021000002) and meet the highest food safety standards in India.

Question 5

How are the fries processed and frozen?

Accepted Answer

Our fries undergo a meticulous multi-step process: sourcing, cleaning, cutting, blanching, par-frying, de-oiling, blast freezing, and food-grade packaging. Our blast freezer rapidly drops the fries to sub-zero temperatures, locking in texture and flavour for a clean, just-made bite.
